VenueCore is an inventory platform for bars, cafés, and restaurants running Clover POS. It mirrors the merchant's menu, ties a recipe to every item, and deducts ingredients automatically as sales come through — so the count runs itself.

01The challenge

Bars and restaurants lose margin to inventory they can't see. Counting during service is impractical, spreadsheets drift, and by the time waste shows up in the numbers, it's already gone.

02The approach

We started with how a busy venue actually operates: sales flow through Clover, staff have no time for data entry, and owners need answers rather than another dashboard. That pointed to a system driven entirely by the point of sale — map recipes once, then let every sale do the counting.

03What we built

A web platform that connects to a Clover merchant, mirrors the menu, and maps each item to ingredient recipes. Every sale deducts stock in real time. Owners see usage, cost, and margin by item, log waste, watch par levels, and draft reorders. Flat monthly plans with a free trial are handled through Stripe.
